Janotta & Herner served as the general commercial contractor for the expansion of The Oaks Lakeside Restaurant on beautiful Chippewa Lake. This restaurant addition provided expanded parking, improved ADA access, enlarged dining areas, upgraded accessible restrooms, and a new bridal suite to better accommodate weddings and special events—all while preserving the stunning lake views. From the outside, you’d hardly recognize it as a restaurant; the addition was designed to resemble a high-end lake cottage with a thoughtful blend of James Hardie siding, cedar shakes, vertical siding, and stone, creating a warm, inviting architectural character that complements the lakeside setting.
