Bellevue Family Dentistry was conflicted about who to use when they were considering building a new dental office. There were dental-specific contractors from Cleveland that were highly qualified but after talking to Janotta & Herner, there was no question. Even during the pandemic, construction stayed on schedule. In addition to the dental office, the building has additional space for other businesses.

In 2008, when the auto industry seemed to be on the ropes, Janotta & Herner began a campaign to contact regional dealerships about facility upgrades. As unlikely as that may have seemed at the time, all major auto makers began doing just that. The Ganley Auto Group led the way, and Janotta & Herner became their preferred contractor. The Ganley BMW Dealership in Westlake, is the second largest BMW facility in the country. When asked to describe the new dealership, Ganleys simply use one word, “Perfect”.

Construction of the facility was completed in seven months including removal of two large industrial buildings on site.

Corrigan Moving Systems’ facility in Parma had become too small to meet their needs. They wanted to create a space that would accommodate their current and future growth. Their new location in Cleveland includes a 32,000 SF engineered steel warehouse building, 5,000 SF attached office space, five position truck dock, secure parking for up to 20 trailers and a recessed scale for tractor trailers. The project also finished up two months ahead of schedule!

Firelands Electric Cooperative previously operated from numerous, separated facilities which made communication between offices difficult. They recognized their need to upgrade to one facility that would house all of their administration and operation functions and chose Janotta & Herner to design and build their new office and storage facility. The building includes a garage area with 18 bays for vehicle storage plus a wash bay and maintenance bay and is located immediately adjacent to a 4 acre exterior storage lot. We even included a boot dryer!

After working with Janotta & Herner on six other projects, FFCU knew who to call when they wanted to add a branch office. The location in downtown Sandusky required additional consideration because it was in a historic building. While keeping the character intact, Janotta & Herner updated to accomodate 21st century banking technology. They even restored 100 year old marble floors.

Project Data
After working with Janotta & Herner on five other bank branches, FFCU knew who to call when they wanted to build a new corporate office. The new facility has five drive-thru lanes and a designated ATM/night deposit lane. The first floor has a contemporary open lobby, teller area and reception space. The second floor is their headquarters, offering support for all of our branches, with room for future expansion.

A temporary wall was constructed at the proscenium wall to keep the weather out until the next phase starts.

Janotta & Herner built their original building in 1998 from the ground up. Over the years, we have done other smaller projects at the facility. This is why over 90% of our work is for return clients.
